Hawaiian Gathering is a company that brings the spirit of Hawaii to your own home. Our founders keep the spirit of the islands close to their hearts. Manny was born and raised in Hawaii. Betty Jean was born in Portland, Oregon, and spent many years in Hawaii.
We have been collecting traditional Hawaiian keepsakes for more than 25 years, and have been selling them for more than a decade now. We have many items, but they are all related to Hawaiian collectibles dating from the mid-1800s through 1959, when Hawaii was admitted to the Union.
We only carry items that have been dated up to Hawaii’s statehood. Other collectibles we stock come from the Sandwich Islands, the Hawaiian Islands (HI), and the territory of Hawaii (tH).
All collections are in good to excellent mint condition. Collecting and decorating has become our passion, and these treasures and experiences have become part of our lives. We can't begin to say how many hours of pleasure they have brought into our home to share with others.
Searching for the Best
Everything we sell has been personally collected by Manny and Betty Jean Fernandez, from all parts of the world and the United States. We found all these wonderful items from a variety of antique stores, flea markets, and outdoor shows.
We have been collectors for more than 25 years. We have traveled the country to find antiques brought from the Islands. Since then, we have turned our home into a museum. Some items are still in boxes because we simply don’t have the space—such is the richness of Hawaiian culture. We are in the process of moving to a bigger location in Arizona.
There is no other website which offers Hawaiian antiques the way we do. Our competitors are strictly sale sites featuring one aspect, such as ukuleles, glassware, or pottery. We offer all kinds of goods.
